We’re proud to announce Helios has achieved SOC 2 compliance! This means our security policies and procedures have been externally audited to ensure they protect and secure our customers’ data. In a world where mishandled data could have severe consequences for organizations, it was important for us to assure our customers that their data is protected and that we continuously work to improve our posture.
What is SOC 2 Compliance?
SOC 2 (Service Organization Control 2) is an international compliance standard that details criteria for managing customer data. Developed by AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), SOC 2 defines five principles:
- Security – Protecting information and systems
- Availability – Ensuring information and systems are available for use
- Processing Integrity – Ensuring system processing is accurate and complete
- Confidentiality – Protecting confidential information
- Privacy – Securing personal information
Being SOC 2 compliant means information and systems are protected according to the highest standards.
What Does It Mean for Our Customers?
“We are a company that delivers on the promise of system data and the insights it can provide. Being SOC 2 compliant means we protect that data for our customers, so they can confidently leverage those insights into efficient and agile development activities,” says Eli Cohen, CEO, and co-founder of Helios.
“Helios now provides two types of confidence to our customers. First, through our platform, by enabling developers to push code with confidence. Second, through our SOC 2 compliance, enabling our customers to work with us with confidence.”
