Our story
- Over the last few years, microservices have become more and more popular. But that popularity hasn’t come without problems. As developers, we found it increasingly hard to make changes to our microservices with confidence. The inability to know exactly what will happen when deploying code to production in distributed environments is a real problem.
- With searching through logs mind-numbing at best, frustrating manual work took over the precious hours of feature development. So our velocity went down. And our delivery times took a hit. But unlike production monitoring, everyday tools for developers working with cloud-native applications weren’t evolving fast enough.
- It was hard to find a product that made life easier for engineers when debugging, troubleshooting, and testing code. We recognized that our teams weren’t the only ones who were struggling. So with a desire to take an active part in the global developer community, we started looking for an open source based solution…
