About the role

Looking for that chance to get in early at an exciting startup? Helios is fast growing, and has great traction for a company so new in the market.

 

As Head of Sales at Helios you’ll be helping to develop repeatable sales strategy, process, and a predictable pipeline for future growth. You’ll help hire and train the team and share progress with the executive team and the board.

 

The Head of Sales will define our go-to-market strategy, own the revenue targets and advise senior leadership on how best to grow the business. The role will report directly to the CEO and work alongside of product, technology leadership, and the operations team.

 

You will:

 

  • Outline and own go-to-market operations scaling strategy end-to-end
  • Gain executive alignment and funding for your strategy and vision
  • Build and lead teams to design and execute global growth
  • Bring innovation to drive sales impact and the reputation of Helios in the market
  • Inspire a team of direct reports to accomplish amazing things while leaving them better than you found them through a focus on growth mindset
  • Proactively identify new opportunities to improve the daily experience for all of the GTM org and make it easier to win
  • Build pipelines, process, and strategy for repeatable sales growth

 

There is no recipe to predict the perfect person for this role, but here is some of the experience we’re looking for:

 

  • Someone with 5-10+ years experience in sales and sales leadership
  • A degree in business administration or an MBA is preferred
  • Able to demonstrate methodology to prospect and build pipeline on your own
  • Experienced in working for an innovative tech company (SaaS, IT infrastructure or similar preferred)—Bonus points for experience with a tracing/monitoring company
  • A wonderful human we can lean on, work with, and enjoy watching build out a sales team that will drive revenue and be people-oriented

Office location

While our office is located in Tel Aviv, this role is a remote role with a strong preference for people in the United States as we look to branch into that market.
